Lisa Novelli - President & CEO
Lisa brings over 25 years of experience to NCC including critical commercialization and operations skills. Her hands on knowledge and business practices allow her to guide the Center’s focus on its strengths and core competencies for new advanced materials and manufacturing processes. In addition, her ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies optimizes profitability and through-put. Prior to NCC, Lisa held key Operations and Plant Management roles for firms ranging from small businesses to fortune 1000 companies. She has also run her own CNC machining business for the military and aerospace industries, an experience that enhances NCC’s “business incubation” theme. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical design from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Lake Erie College. She has extensive knowledge in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles. Her ability to leverage her unique combination of capabilities at NCC is helping manufacturers and member companies use advanced materials to take their existing products to the next level and bring new product developments to market in nearly half the time required by more traditional approaches.

Harry Couch - Technical Oversight
Harry brings 46 years of experience in the development and production implementation of polymeric materials to his work at NCC. Harry’s leadership in the development of automotive structures using polymers and polymer composites has ranged from ball joints and suspension links to springs and urethane seating. He is a member of the Delphi Automotive Inventors and Scientists Hall of Fame and has received significant awards for his work with composites in automotive applications. As technical advisor for NCC, Harry is closely involved with programs that include process and materials and design developments for aerospace, automotive, rail service and highway infrastructure.

Alan Fatz - Technology Advisor
Alan offers 33 years of experience in plastics material and process development; welding robotic cells; production implementation of composite products, structural composite processing; and composite technology assessment for automotive applications. Alan is also skilled in the areas of just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing, lean manufacturing, statistical process control (SPC); patent law for engineers and the principles of corrosion.
