NCC recently received funding from the Automotive Composites Consortium (ACC) - a division of the United States Consortium for Automotive Research – (USCAR) for its next project with the SRIM press. Called Focal Project III, NCC will examine carbon fiber uses as an application for a heavily stressed support piece between the front and rear doors on a four-door sedan.
